What data is stored?
- Your email address – to send you the alerts.
- Your WebUntis username and password – encrypted, so your timetable can be fetched.
- A list of alerts already sent – so you do not get the same one twice. It holds checksums only, no readable content.
Why is the password needed at all?
WebUntis offers no way for another service to read your timetable without signing in as you. That is why your credentials are required. The password is stored encrypted, used only for this purpose and never shared. If you would rather not, use the timetable download instead – there the credentials are used once and not stored.
How long is data kept?
Until you cancel your subscription. Your email address and credentials are deleted immediately afterwards. Alerts older than 30 days are removed automatically.
Your rights
You can request information about your stored data, have it corrected or deleted at any time. The fastest way to delete everything is “Cancel subscription”.
